No. We don't want to build a snowman - here at Couch when the white stuff starts falling we like to hide away in the cosy bosom of our home! So here are our top tips on creating your own snuggly nook:

Even lighting can be layered to create a more warming glow - switch off the 'big light' and choose a variety of lamps, fairy lights and candles instead. For Winter choose velvet, faux fur, sheepskin, aran knits and soft fleece. You can even throw in a bit of faux suede or animal print furs for an edgier look! Your cosy update doesn't have to break the bank - high street stores such as Matalan, The Range, M&S and even Primark have some beautiful soft furnishings and accessories both online and instore. Do remember to keep your seasonal purchases neutral - that way you can whip them out year after year and they will always work with your decor...
